Deepdale prefecture
After my facetious outburst on Instagram I thought it only right that I put more considered and balanced views in my blog. Last year would have been ideal for photographing as traffic was so low, but other things were more important and I was not going about. Traffic was fairly quiet this morning, but not so that I could wander freely on the freeway and place my tripod unencumbered. Two years ago, as I set up on the pedestrian island, I heard an engine rev down as a police van drew up alongside me. The kindly officer asked me what I was doing, and although I was standing in front of a large DSLR on a tripod and swathed in camera bags, I replied ‘taking a photograph’.
Glorious blossom and light - worthy of note and great appreciation.
